The laser pointer is attached to the index finger by a Velcro fastener and has a start/stop switch activated by the thumb. It must be attached to the flight gloves of a helicopter pilot.

The power of the laser is sufficient to designate at a long distance in infrared, and at any night-time light level. The laser can be used as a small IR light by adjusting the beam diameter.

It is lightweight, powerful, easy to use and its ergonomics allow helicopter pilots to keep their hands free.
